About the event
Study Trip Eastward: September 22-24, 2023
In Friuli, “The major quantitatively and qualitatively new and significant interventions in the area are two: the first, Lignano Sabbiadoro, connected to beach tourism; the second, Torviscosa, the only major industrial intervention ever undertaken in the province up to that time.” wrote Francesco Tentori.
For this reason, it seems interesting to bring together two episodes from the history of urban planning and architecture for a guided tour of Lignano and Torviscosa, and to add Udine as a cultural hub and Spilimbergo for its history and gastronomy.
